What is the difference between a homecare and home health?
Home health covers medical needs like Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and the like. Homecare is non medical services such as companionship and personal care. Ardent Care provides HOMECARE services.
What are the limits of caregiving services in Illinois?
  1. We cannot function as a Power of Attorney
  2. We cannot prepare medications
  3. We cannot cut fingernails
  4. We cannot provide total lifting
  5. We cannot change dressings or apply prescription topical ointment, gel or lotion.

We provide care in DuPage County. We also serve Cook and Kane Counties.
How much do you charge?
There are a lot of factors that will determine the exact cost. Ardent Care prepares a specific care plan that will determine the cost. These are some of the factors:
  1. Hours and frequency of care.
  2. Complexity of hands-on care.
  3. You may call us to set a FREE in-home consultation to discuss rates for your specific needs.
How often do you send invoices?
We send invoices weekly.

Ardent Care accepts the following payments:

How long does the application process take if we decide to use your services?
Ardent Care can provide service a few days after the free initial assessment. Should you need an emergency staffing, we encourage you to call anyway. We may be able to staff even on the same day.
How can I make sure that the care has been attended to?
Ardent Care is continuously evolving with advance technologies. We operate AxisCare software, which is a state of the art mobile application that utilizes global positioning system to ensure the location of our employees as they clock in and out at your loved one’s home. We call caregivers on a regular basis. We call our clients to make sure they are satisfied with our services. We also visit our clients multiple times throughout the year.
Are your caregivers competent?
Yes. Ardent Care CNAs and caregivers have a minimum of 2 years experience. All our employees must pass a criminal background check. We also provide training for all before they take on any case and we make sure we do this annually thereafter as required by the Illinois Department of Public Health. All of our caregivers are W2 employees.

Ardent Care has been in business since April 23, 2007.
